Baby picture

For this photo, i reenacted a baby photo. I then cropped the photo and adjusted the curves and slightly blurred the background so I was the main focus.

For my diptych photo, I chose to put a natural landscape and an urban landscape together. They represent the curves found in an urban area verse the curves found in nature.  Both show paths leading to a specific destination, going in the same direction. Although they are completely different looking photos, i think they work together for a diptych picture because the resemble similar ideas but in different scenarios. I also chose to unify the picture with a green and dark border because both photos contain these colors. I also like how the 'sky' (the building) in the urban picture is complimentary of the sky in the nature picture.

Pheme, goddess of popular rumor

Seen by some as the messenger of Zeus, Pheme, also know as Fame, is the goddess of popular rumor. Pheme did not care about the nature of the rumors and gossip she spread, whether they sounded good or evil. She was constantly prying and announced whatever she heard, at first of only a few, then eventually louder, until everyone had known.
