For this photo, I used the macro setting. I used an ISO of 400 to retain detail but avoid digital noise. I used a +1/3 exposure to slightly brighten the photo. A custom white balance was used for this photo. The green and the red in this photo complement each other effectively. I was attempting to blur out the background and make the pine cone very clear to show depth.
